DNB From Scratch
I tried an experiment recently where I wrote drum n bass with drums, bass, and guitars. I first wrote a song, then slowed it down to track the drums, and then sped it back up, because that's roughly how the genre was created to begin with.
Learning With Covers
I have been teaching myself how to record music for several years. To get started, I figured I should do a bunch of cover songs and I would switch to recording my own music once I got the hang of it. I never shared the covers... until now!

A Guide To Making Good Demos
Here are the steps I use when I'm prototyping a song in Logic. It is based almost entirely on plugins that come builtin with Logic, except for the amp sim. You only need to bring your eyes, your ears, and your guitars.
